Trimph1 I am a huge Gong fan. Have been listening since You and have pretty much the whole catalog. Escape Control Delete - most recent - not bad. How to stay alive - not bad and very Peter Max http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pw8ZESzpL3M Oh I saw Gong live in Hammersmith Pallais in maybe 97-98. I am pretty sure I was the only person there not on LSD.

Hi, Buggers!!!! ... I meant "burgers" ... I'm hungry! Can't see these at work. The better, or at least most interesting videos I can remember were the ones that were directed by the 10CC guys for The Police. I wrote 14 music videos and had 6 of them for a band in Santa Barbara that we could not find money to have it done with. I had written, mostly as an idea and visual, one for the very first piece of music by the CHB, and it was a nice "throw-in" to those pieces by Creme and Godley, but I don't think that Bapu liked it and it was rejected outright!

Hi, I still think of Pierre Moerlin as one of the finest rock drummers ever ... and having had the chance to sit with him, and talk, and take pictures on their 2nd tour of the US, was a treat. (Pictures on the Web site) But if you really want to see him, you gotta get Mike Oldfield's Exposed DVD and enjoy what should be stated as a "master musician" ... not just a drummer! But yeah ... the two long cuts back to back in "You" are on my top three of rock music ... you can not teach that to a drummer ... you either feel it or die trying! That 97-98 tour already had Chris (he came from Soul2Soul, I think!) on the drums I think, right? Still good.

When I last saw Daevid Allen, he was playing a Steinberger. It looks like that or a Lazer - like Johnny Winters plays. BTW - what a great line up. Good chunk of the 70s band that recorded Gong You. That is in my top 10 albums of all time.

Not sure what Hillage is playing but I think he is using a Steinberger, but I'll have to ask.
