Feature Request Idea

I just put this in to CW. Was wondering if anyone else is having this same problem/trouble/annoyance!

When selecting a module to insert into Pro Channel, the list is starting to get rather long. I would like a feature that would allow me to organize the modules the way I want. Or at the very least have X3 do it by Vender or module type.

You could probably arrange them by different literal folders and add them to the plugin manager. After scanning, you should have them listed with a dropdown box. Haven't tried it, but that is some of that I have seen.

you can also create different plugin views. Try that too. I don't know exactly what you mean by 'module' but I posted thinking you were talking audio fx.

Talking about the ProChannel modules. I have almost all of them. When I go to insert one the list is longer than my screen. If this keeps up, and I'm sure it will, that list becomes very long indeed. And harder to find stuff.

Grem - I agree with your suggestion. I can only imagine the Bakers are forward thinking on this already.

I have all the Cakewalk ProChannel modules and the Softube Mix Bundle and the VKFX collection. All are great and I use them steadily. The single list is getting quite long and would be nicer if it could be organized.

I also use the ProChannel FX bin all the time and that's located at the bottom of the list. Certainly would be nicer at the top of the list.

But all that said, I really appreciate the ProChannel and all of these modules.

Two internal 2TB SSDs laptop stuffed with Larry's deals and awesome tools. Studio One is the cat's meow as a DAW now that I've migrated off of Sonar. Using BandLab Cakewalk just to grab old files when migrating songs.

Agreed lawa. They are most likely already on it. I have all but the Softube stuff.

When you want that certain module, you have to look for it. Because the order shifts depending on what you already have in/or taken out of the PC.

I use the PC on everything now. And what ain't in there, I put it in the FX chain. Like you said, at the bottom!
