Feature Request for Dimension Pro
As I am hearing hints of another expansion pack for Dimension Pro... I have a content-related request, if it's doable: more "world" instruments, please, particularly in the Celtic genre. A good bodhran, some pipes of differing origin... that kind of stuff. Thanks for listening! Cheers, Russ

Mmmmm yes, choirs please. And some more choice in the brass department. Oh, and how about a nice banjo or two? Are there any extra sounds available from third party sources? I know I could get hold of .wav collections and write the text files, but I'm lazy...

I was dead-serious about a pedal steel - set the sustain pedal to change the string pitch - but I'm sure B-Rock might have a work-around... (hint-hint) Yee-haw!!!

B-Rock might have a work-around... (hint-hint) Accurate triggering from a hex pickup, a steel/copper slide, and a Digitech Whammy on the audio outs. Seriously, the realism comes from tweaking and playing technique. You can use the sustain pedal, but it's a little more believeable if you divvy up the patch with 'per-string' Elements (key ranges). Then defeat the Sustain On/Off in all of the Elements, and just choose the 'strings' that you want to pedal in the MIDI Matrix. Shucks , if you want, choose your 'tuning' with Transpose adjustments in each Element. Myself, if I'm triggering it with a keyboard, I prefer channel aftertouch for the 'pedals', per-segment velocity controlling the the 'attack', and maybe a little polyphonic portamento thrown in with .sfz for good measure. some pipes of differing origin... Now this, I can help with. I've got a ton of pipes lying around here, and I have no idea where they came from ...
