Funny you posted this. Ya know, despite my hectic schedule, I too am checking in three to four times daily to see if the update has been posted. I have a Software Install marathon scheduled for Saturday (I still haven't done my PT8 yet) and I'd love to do Sonar 8.3 as well. Cross my fingers....

It's 0.2.7 louder than 8.0.3 would have been.

Don, John, I too keep checking several times a day. LOL! What the heck is wrong with us?! Hahahaha! One good thing I can say is 8.02 has been working really great for me so to be honest, I don't even know why I keep checking here so often. I still can't get used to that split clips thing...it's driving me nuts! I soo hope they at least give us a toggle to go back to the old way.

One other thing, are any of you getting a gap in your audio when using punch out? I posted this before but don't recall anyone commenting on it other than me. The gap doesn't delete any of the good audio, it just needs to be slid over way more than usual. I get that little click thing usually, but the clips remain over-lapped in previous versions. In this one, I literally have to over-lap them and slide way over to make them solid. Kinda annoying, but I'm getting used to it. Anyone else have this happen? I do the normal set up for punch in/out, enable over-write, it punches in fine...perfect over-lap like normal (might have to slide it ever so slightly to get rid of the lil click IF one exists) but the punch out is the one that's killing me. It's like I'm getting this: ====== ====== and I have to really slide the second clip over.

John, just to let you know, so far no sign of that EEeeeeeeeee noise since switching over to Trigger and Freewheel. I still have about another few weeks to see whether it will show up or not, but so far so good. :) I still don't think that's what my problem is, but heck, if it works like this, so be it..maybe it was. I just hope it doesn't come back. LOL!

This is good news. Who knows what was the cause as long as it is not doing that now. Lets just keep our fingers crossed.

This seems more reasonable than Feb. 31st, which we could have waited for centuries.

    Did you not hear?

They are scraping the whole SONAR thing and releasing a new product called Cubreap based on logic and Protools for Linux machines only.

i read somewhere that cockos and Yamaha/Steinberg were in a joint venture with a product aimed at a cross-over market for the two products. I have heard it is going to be called Free-Base
