    I almost bought it a Christmas.  It was around $199 then, but I had already spent my allotted Xmas allowance for plugins from Waves and UAD.  So I reluctantly didn't get it.  I did download the demo and played with it for a week or so.  It really sounded good on acoustic and classical guitars and I suspect it would be useful on many acoustic instruments.   Alas I did not buy it, but did put it on my "to buy" list.  I might see if I've got the $99 for it this time; it is certainly worth having it in my toolbox.  You should definitely download the demo and try it out.  I really suspect that you will like it and find use for it.

    I use it on acoustic guitars too. It has a special sound to it.

    I actually remember when the hardware first came out and everyone was going gaga over it.  Whoever decided to lease it (by the finished minute no less) is a genius.  Guess it's a forgone conclusion for me:-)

    Knew you would.  Surprised you didn't already have it.  Aural Exciter goes well with a little Magnetic II (or Kraemer) in the effect chain which results in some sweet clean yet complex tone.
