Feedback with Sonar 8 and v studio 100

Hi,

I just purchases the V studio 100 and when i arm a track to record a midi combination in Sonar 8, there is a single shrill note, sounds like a horror film, that continually plays back through my Korg Triton and it records, along with the midi recording,  in Sonar 8.  When I stop the recording, the note is still playing on the Triton until I switch the mode on the Korg to kill it.  Can you help me get rid of this?

My midi track is set up as follows;
I- all inputs omni
o-Triton extreme

The Bus is set up as follows:
VS 100 out 1-2

    You could have a MIDI feedback loop if you have Sonar sending the signal back to the keyboard and the keyboard sending it back to the computer. If you're using standard MIDI cables, disconnect the MIDI out on the interface from going to the Korg. You may need to change your routing settings on the keyboard or in Sonar to fix it.
