Fever

https://soundcloud.com/cris_camp/fever ... just finished this little track .. kind of old school techno i guess ..mixing is not the greatest as i had a hard time to make the piano to sit well without interfering with the bass and drums ... Enjoy!

I don't know too much about this music. I see what you mean about the piano, but it didn't really sound too odd to my ears. I wanted more movement in the melody of the lead instrument - feel like you have a lot of room to explore height and width and create almost a surreal surround environment, but I (again) don't know how this music should go.

I'm picturing in my mind a strobe light thing going on with this.  Almost hypnotic.  I like your use of the various sounds as if to form a musical color pallette.

What Jesse said, plus, I think the mix could do with just a hair less kick. I know it's supposed to be prominent but it's kind of pushing out the bass synth. I liked the middle section with the kick removed, I can hear the mix a lot better.

No help, probably, but I don't think you really need much help, you are a good mixer and this is way listenable.

    cheers,
