File-Export-Audio and CD-burned volume by far too low - Why??...

Sonar, Youtube, WMP and so on are all having a normal volume through system.

Mixers are at correct level, final ouput all normal looking. Playback volume normal.

Sound card settings is all the very same all over, nothing reduced in mixer.
Still when I export a mix from Sonar, even by burning a CD directly from Tools-Burn Audio CD, it still only save audio in the range of -6 to -18 dB.

Even if exporting imported wave files, after just making sure that they are reaching to normal level they are getting redused after fineal mix, even though if the mix itself has been set at a too high final output peak and the volume to be heard is all fine. But the file, after more or less just re-exporting it, has got very small waves and by far too low volume. How is this possible..??

First make sure all your tracks are being routed ultimately to the master bus. Simply mute the master bus during playback and verify that everything goes silent. Then check the Trim and Volume controls on the master bus, as well as any plugins there.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

    Yeah, thanks alot man!

I've got 1 bus and one master there and at least as I exported the master only it was a lot louder. And first bus did not go silent, but weaker in sound than the master did, so no doubt you're leading me on right track there! Much better having fun producing than scratching my head all sore..!! Thanks again!  :o)
