Thanks! It was my first attempt at a cinematic hybrid orchestral piece; thought I really should try given I bought Project SAM orchestral brass. I wasn't sure if I was overdoing it.

Has got a very cinematic feel to this feels like it should be over the hero (or heroine's) epic journey to save something. Mix comes across quite well here.
Thanks for sharing.

The trombones particularly sound good. Epic thunder drums, check. I like that riser going on in there at times, really pulls you in. Cirque du Soleil would find a use for this. That little rhythm background of plucky synth is really cool, you might make more of that? More reverb wash on that lady's voice? Piano is very effective!
This was great. I think the weak point in the overall very strong choice of instruments might be that upper strings lead patch. It stood out as being "synthy" whereas the rest felt quite organic. Cool job! cheers, -Tom

Thanks Tom; glad you enjoyed it. You might have a point with the reverb (the alto from Voices of Rapture): the vocal does come across a little dry in the first section that she sings in. The rhythm synth is from Omnisphere 2. The piano's Pianoteq 5, which has become my default go-to piano. I also got the feeling that the strings didn't feel quite so organic as the other instruments (I absolutely love the brass from ProjectSAM). It's the string sections (violins, violas, cello, etc.) from GPO 5, which I'll probably have to make do with until I can find a nice sounding, reasonably priced string library that isn't too big (unfortunately, I don't have infinite disk space). Mix comments above aside... I really enjoyed that! It has the epic thing going for it, and sure seems like a good fit for the hero scene. In a Cirque performance.
