Final Project Export problem

Hi there,

Ok, Ive been exploring X1 a lot this past week, and I probably should not have taken on a paid gig without knowing everything I need to know to get from point A to B  but....

I finished a commercial project in X1, saved as  a normal and a Bundle file.   What I am attempting to do is figure out how to get my finished project (all 30 seconds of it, with three tracks audio) into a simple wav or OMF file that I can send to the guy paying for it.  In 8.5 I was able to export to any type of file I needed, then attach and email.  This setup has me confused and I know its gotta be something dumb that I'm missing here.

Any help would be appreciated.

Mick

Nothing has changed in X1 in regard to exporting. It's the same as 8.5 as far as I can tell.

Go to File, down to Export ...

Please forgive my ignorance on this part of the operation, but Ive gone through the tutorials and help menus (also really tired at the moment having been at this since 11am), but I cant figure out how to get my OMF1 file into a wav file for distribution to the person who needs it

I know it may have something to do with the mixdown portion as the file is saved as three seprate tracks, so what I'm needing is to figure out how to get the tracks together as a single song and then into a wav file without having to burn to cd etc.

Again, please forgive my lack of knowledge here, but I distinctly remember this being easier in 8.5

    Hi Mick,

Sorry I can't be more help with this. I've never used OMF files. I can't even fire up my DAW at the moment as it is dead.

Hopefully someone can jump in and help you with this.

    Sorry,

    Bub

Thank you for taking the time to at least try, Bub.  Ive even used the search function here and not coming up with anything useful.  I hate knowing that inside this is probably something stupid and obvious that I'm missing.  I know I'll figure it out, it just sucks to get all this way and forget something dumb lol.

    Thanks :)

Figured it out.  Had to go to the Garrigus book and found it in chapter 13 under exporting.  I didnt realize that when you are exporting from the folder in question containing the files, it was actually selecting all and making the wave file (if that makes any sense).

    Thanks again
