I had the chance this week to upgrade from Notepad or whatever that is called and missed it.  I'm looking for a good desktop notation program.  I seem to think that Sibelius looks like a much more user friendly program.  I'm running the trial version of one of the entry level products and it's doing most of what I need.

    Decisions, decisions.

I've had PrintMusic since 2009, I think.  Our church uses Finale and there are songs available in some resource the WP has which has finale files available, so I looked into upgrading at the time a couple of months ago so that I could open those files he gets from home for "tweaking" for our choir.  but it was going to cost me $399 to upgrade.  no way!

then 2 weeks ago I start getting this offer from makemusic to upgrade for $99!  so I did it today!
