Finally bought Albion One, courtesy of the Wish List promotion. And wow...

...it's pretty damn awesome.

I mean, the orchestral library is fantastic -- the sound is lush and gorgeous, lots of controllable parameters, etc. But the extra stuff, Stephensons, etc, is almost worth the price all by themselves. I'm very impressed...

Going to be a few late nights this week, I think...

The Wist List promo was nice -- got it at 30% off, which helped a lot.

I agree. Totally impressed with it myself and glad I bit on the offer when it was released.

Not sure of your prowess working with this level of firepower. I'm not that studied on the classic sound myself. What I did discover, however, is that there's this arpegiattor VST from Squareheads called Nora. That tool (providing some motion) on some lines you put down in Albion One can sound pretty amazing.

Just a suggestion from something I've experimented with and thought Wow!

Two internal 2TB SSDs laptop stuffed with Larry's deals and awesome tools. Studio One is the cat's meow as a DAW now that I've migrated off of Sonar. Using BandLab Cakewalk just to grab old files when migrating songs.
