Dimension that came with Project 5

I own both Sonar 6 and Project 5. Does more than one instance of Dimension(not Dimension 2) work in Sonar 6? I can't get more than one instrument without crackling sounds happening.

    Yes. It's likely that there is something iffy about your setup that is resulting the crackling you're experiencing. I recommend looking at the troubleshooting section of your manuals. Otherwise, wait and see if someone more generous than myself comes along to walk you through it…

    Whats your pc specs, The more strain you put on your pc, the higher you have to set your buffers. you should be able to set up as many instances as your pc can handle. your problem isnt a dimension or sonar problem, its a computer configuration or lack of computer power.

    One important thing to consider is memory. If you have less memory than the sum of the patches you load, Windows will start swapping to disk.

    When that happens, it'll have to bring the unloaded samples to memory again when you hit a key. That takes some time, which depending on your buffer settings, might result in crackling.
