Tempo

I have a song that I recorded on an old AKI Dr4 and then brought into Sonar via my audio Interface.

When I did this I just used the default tempo that I had of 100bpm.

I would like to replace the cheesey drum machine drums with much better synth drums. Tempo is my problem. I know the actual tempo is 70bpm. If I change the tempo to that, the original audio tracks(there are 8) get horribly out of sync.

If I leave it at 100 and try putting in a drum synth it won't match up with my audio.

Anyway around this?

Thanks,

Ray

I guess the obvious question would be can you bring it back in at 70 from the AKI?

Can you not simply change your project tempo in Sonar to 70bpm?

I was thinking of this, but didn't want to copy and paste all these tracks if it wouldn't work.

Works like a charm - THANKS!
