FLAC compression

Has anyone heard of FLAC compression for audio?

It is supposed to be comparable to MP3, but without the amount of loss of bandwidth and sound quality.

    I don't believe Pyro recognize this format yet.

    I asked Technical Support and they siad that there are no plans to support FLAC. I also have an Archos player. They too do not plan to support it. Too bad.
