Amplitube 2 crashes Sonar 3PE?

I have run into a little trouble with Amplitube2 in Sonar. Every time I add it to an FX bin, Sonar crashes somethin' fierce... I have been able to work around the problem slightly by adding the dxi to a bus instead, and sending whatever guitar track through there. But it still crashes upon loading certain presets.

Just wondered if anyone had a similar problem, and wanted to share some possible solutions?

muchos gracias,

    10-4:

Dell Dimension 8200, P4 2.39 GHz, 768MB Ram; XP Home; EMU 0404 w/ latest drivers; Sonar 3 PE in Asio mode-- 50 second latency buffer, i/o buffer size 64 kb... what else... uh... oh yeah, recorded file bit depth at 24 & 44.1.

Now we have something to work with, Try increasing your I/O buffer to 128, then 256, then 512, then 1024. Try all those settings and keep the lowest one that works. Also you may want to tweak latency/buffer, 50ms is kinda high.

Have you installed the latest version of A2? I'm quite sure that it has fixed some known issues with sonar, and it also dropped the requirement for the synchrosoft dongle.
