Pitch correction plug in and plug in question in general
I have a copy of MusicCreator 3. I got in mainly for doing some midi programming, but have found I can actually import tracks from my hard drive recording system and fiddle around. I am most interested in finding a pitch correction plug in I can use with MusicCreator. It appears I need a VST of some sort, so I probably need to buy that somewhere here, then find the plug ins elsewhere on the site. Anyone here have any suggestions?

MC3 comes with a VST adapter - so you don't need a separate one. for pitch correction, the best one I've demoed (but didn't buy - another story) is Celemony Melodyne. you can get the UNO for ~$160

To really answer that question, we would need to know what you intend to pitch corrrect.

Robo More than likely, I will use it to correct vocal tracks that I will dump back down to my Mackie SDR Beagle, thanks for the info, I will have to poke around to see how to get a plug in recognized in MC3. I am very new to it, but will learn quickly. Just for some background, I have a studio that runs a Mackie SDR 24 track hard disk recording system and a Kord D16XD Digital Audio Workstation. Instead of buying an Anteres Auto Tune rack mount box to do pitch correction on vocals, I thought I'd try going this route first. I have a couple of different "WAV" programs, and I was just fooling around today to see if MC3 could actually work with the WAV files I pull off the hard drive system. Lo and behold, it does, so now I am headed down this path :-)

Marc, if that is the angle then i second the melodyne suggestion from Beagle, you do not need a host for it as it will stand alone repair and correct wave files. also it can do some real nice harmony work. Just export a wave file from the hard di#k unit and pop it into melodyne and make it happen

4 star typo. That was classic. Beagle, the real question is will she ask who Melodyne is?
