2.5 install problem

hi i am having problem installing the 2.5 update on my laptop. i can install p5v2 and the 2.1 update but when i try to install the 2.5 it loads the shell but when it starts to complete install it crashes and windows says it has to shut down the install. because it installs the shell p5 becomes useless. try to reg edit out of system but can't and it will not allow p5 to work again untill i reinstall windows. i am using a satellite pro 6100 with 512 pc2100 ram running pentuim4 1.8g processor. xp pro servicepack 2 what is causing it to fail install? as it works ok on my desktop

    I dont know what to tell you. Stick with v2. When you do get to 2.5 you might regret all the effort you put into it. Im not suggesting you give up im just saying dont let it keep you from making MUZAK
