Control Surface DLL Not Installed

Control Surface DLL Not Installed

Been using MC for a few weeks now and when I fired it up this morning I got the (new) error messgae "Control Surface DLL not installed". It won't let me proceed. I am not a control surface developer by any stretch...any ideas how to get this dll?

    that's not a developer's message. have you installed anything new lately? hardware or software?

    No I haven't installed any new hardware or software since installing MC. I did uninstall it and reinstall it thinking it would reload the dll file but it didn't. Strange....

    are you running winxp? if so, try restoring to a time before the problem started. if that doesn't work, I suggest millerbill's last resort reinstall.
