Project5 2.5 Signal Flow


I haven't gotten to the bottom of this 2.5 update yet. But for those of you in the know who have been putting it through the paces, is this signal flow diagram now out-of-date with respect to 2.5?

    Enhanced, perhaps. Now you've got Input Quantize inserted per-track, and a branch type to External MIDI w/ MIDI Out.

    The audio section is different as well.

    You could could put "...and so on" after the fourth aux bus now. Also, the Main Bus to -> Sound Card part should look different. I only have 1 sound card so I don't know the details.

    I have authentic analog drum machine samples.

    Good point. We'll have to update the 'flowchart' ourselves. Nick Haddad has long since moved on.
    I only have 1 sound card so I don't know the details.
    You can still have one sound card with multiple outputs, and they all show up as Master busses. If they're active and exposed to Project5, they're shown as a bus(s). mLan via O1X has up to 18 stereo outputs, so unless you pare that down in the Auto Connector (control panel), they take over P5's interface. The Edirols (6 and 10 out, respectively), come in as 3 or 5 Master busses.

    Another place for "... and so on."
