Help No playback !

Ok, Im sure there's a fairly simple solution for this but I tried everything I know of and still I can't hear anything while I playback. I have no problem hearing the guitar and recording it, i can see the wav the channels lighting up while I playback the track I made but I cant hear it, I'm on a new comp but with the same SBLive card, and it used to work fine. Everything in audio options is set to emu10k, even tried asioforall, set that to asio, nothing ! cant hear playback, checked windows control panel and the sound settings, all looks fine, Ive I missed something ? I can even go into the folder that the recordings save and play the wav through winamp just fine what gives ? thanx

Comp:
Core 2 Duo E6600 2.4gz
2 gig ram
asus p5b mobo
SBLive
8800 GTX :D

What is the output of the track set to? Is it showing the SBlive card?

Outpuck of the track is set to emu10k 1/2 don't know whats going on, maybe its cause I changed the folders for the saved projects, ill reinstall GTP with everything default just to see, cant think of anything else :( thx anyway.

Edit: Oh noes, it works when I put MME32 what does this mean ? I heard MME32 was crap, does a sblive support wdm or asio ? whats the differences ? thx again !

Your SB Live should support at least WDM. Did you run the wave profiler?
Is the new machine running Vista? Winamp or Media Player have nothing to do with GTP.

Well im running xp, everything up to date, so far mm2 sounds like crap and I used to have no problems so I know i used wdm before, now I tried importing a track and I cant hear it, i've checked everywhere, even put drivers in mono and it worked but the sound was all fubbared, the wdm kernel wave profiler runs ok, says ok up to 48200hz. I only used winamp to listen to the track I recorded via GTP 3 and I could hear it, but not via GTP 3, think ill reinstall everything tomorrow sometimes that helps oh well, thanx for the help guys !
