Problem with EnergyXT vst version inside P5 v2.5

Hi all,

wasn't sure where to send a bug report, but I have started a project which uses energyXT as a vst to do drums with. Now though, when I try to open the project I get the following error message -

An exception has occurred in c:\plugins\Energy XT VST\energyXT.dll. Project5 will now close.
(Exception code: c0000005, address 5c4f280:1:fe280.)


P5 exits after the error message

    I've used a lot of different versions of energyXT and have never had any problems

    (don't you just love it when people tell you that)

    Is this your first go round with eXT?
    Does it work in standalone?

    I'd save your work in an exT project and download and re-install the most recent version.
    They've moved around their web sites and download centers -- I think it's like 1.4 February or April

    I assuem you're talking about v 1 and not the energyXT2. I haven't used that. Seems too bloated for my needs.

    heh, yeah it's always the way

    I have used eXT in the past without problems (that I can remember anyway, it's been a while).

    I am pretty sure the vst version I have is the most recent one. I'll try again though.
