Leslie Rotary Speaker sound effect
I wonder did some one try to use Hammond Leslie Rotary speaker VST effect? I have traied many except for Native B3/4 Organ I cound not find proper plug in.Yes I also tried Rapture but somewhere that Leslie effect is missing. A reply from any one of forum member who has found more realistic rotary sound effect would be appreciated. I would also appreciate suggestions of Indian instrument plug-ing except Swar-plugins. Thanks skbasu_488

There's a free set of plugins by mda (dunno where I got them from, sorry - have to google for them) which has a whole bundle of nice and useful one, among which, a leslie that has quite a few nice sliders to play with, and even works at really low speeds, check that together with a bit of chorus - real nice.

you can try what John Lennon wanted to do before his engineer talked him out of it and came up with an alternative, wich was the leslie. you can hang from the ceiling upside down and twirl around the microphone. ( for your vocals ) Cj

Listen when the horn is ramping up or back down - this freebie does a better job than many sims included with commercial vsti's - Here is the link - many good and useful plugs - http://mda.smartelectronix.com/vst/mda_vst_fx_win.zip

[ Thanks Junski I tried, it even does not match Native B3/B4 organ you can find yourself. With Cakewalk Sonar or Home studion I do find any good VST. Now to easiest way to create better Hammond effect I use contollers Modualtion rapid note pan.velocity variarion, expression as per melody and use hammond crord.cal effect

If I would go for a perfect Leslie, I'd check out that mda first, it gives a good start, and then experiment with that Paradise stereo panner, set to the peaks of an envelope created by Bluecat Peak meter, meaning you'd have 2 tweakable parameters, and finalize that output with (again) Audiosnap. Think you can create whole whirlpools of sound that way, without ever getting over-phasey.

Thanks friends for all info but I got the best from ORGANized Trio[/i] created / programmed by Guido Scognamiglio - Italy guido@gmlab.it a VST PlugIn free download which very similar to B3/B4 with Rotary Leslie effect. The tones are also nice as well you can have .fxb files or create them. This works great with Sonar ver 6.0. For pertular that I have used you can find it in [b ]http://www.midimusicindia.com
