Session Drummer

Hi. I'm a bit confused as to why when I click on the 8th note icon in SD, it creates a whole new track that is midi data only (which I wanted) but that track is routed to my Motif ES6 and I can't select SD as my instrument. I have to drag the clips onto the midi track that I created when I load SD in the first place! I'm sure I'm missing something, and would be grateful for any and all help. Thanks in advance.

That is how the MIDI note icon is supposed to work, at least according to the documentation.

Hey thanks...what I found out by watching the video on Youtube is that if you click and drag the 8th note onto one of the tracks that gets generated by SD. If you just click on it, it opens up a whole new window with a midi track on it.
