[Download] 32 Rapture Programs (for Architecture CE)

If you've got this wavetable set [Architecture CE], and they're installed under Rapture's Multisamples in an Architecture CE subfolder, then you're set up to use these program files. Extract this .zip file to your Programs folder. An 'Architecture TB-32' subfolder will contain the 32 presets. Hit F5 to refresh the Program Browser.

Read this. on the 20/06/07, 2 days ago I ask Tom when we could expect some presets. Faster than a speeding bullet, they've arrived

Ahhhhhh.....OK. Yup, b is pretty fast.

[For a minute I thought you were criticizing b rock's offerings and the amount of time it took to create them. That seemed a bit odd to me, especially since the presets are a free gift. Now it all makes sense. ]

I'm really looking forward to checking these out, but can't get them to show up after refreshing...I followed the instructions...dunno...

Doh! Forgot about the changes to the filepath...moved to Documents & Settings Folder...sorry, I'm slow...not a Vista user...YET!

These are very cool presets, Tom...great way to show off some new sounds with the Architecture waveset...Animatronics reminded me of the arpeggiator on my Grandma's old 70's Wurlitzer organ...good times...thanks for sharing!

The programs need to be in

    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Cakewalk\Rapture\Programs

The waveforms need to be in

    C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Rapture\Multisamples\Architecture Waveforms CE

Check this is correct and hit F5 in the Rapture programs browser.

Edit: See you'd figured it out before I posted

Whoa. I just got back to this. The replies are much appreciated, and I hope that everyone finds the presets useful and/or inspirational. There's surely more to come from this wavetable set at some point. I barely scratched the surface here. Mikebeck: You don't post much at the forums, so I take notice when your replies come in. I hope that the Rapture learning process is coming along well.

Da berzurkur, I see that you got the placement all sorted out. With the Programs folder relocation being so new, I should've put up a reminder. For Vista users, that path would be similar to this: "C:\ProgramData\Cakewalk\Rapture". If anyone else runs into trouble, there's always this tactic:

You can have program files anywhere, but one of the locations listed here is where the Program Browser looks for them. If that doesn't work for you, click on that little disk icon in Rapture, and select Load Program. Navigate to your C:/ or all drives, right-click, and Search. Then put a unique filename in the Search box (for example: TB Bowed Larynx.prog from this set). It should bring you right to where you have them stored.

'Infinite' Mike : I'm very happy with where the 'technology woes' are at right now. When you lose backups at the same time, you never get everything back, but in a relative sense, I'm good to go. Now if I'd have just gone with my gut and the RME, instead of a temporary Vista audio solution ...
the amount of time it took to create them.
If I told you guys how long this actually took, you'd start throwing rotten vegetables at me. These wavetables suggest to me what way to go with a preset, so I found it to be easy to churn some out quickly. I listened to the raw wavetables to give me the next set of directions.

But if you think that was fast ... Muso and I had a little PM exchange. Within 10-11 hours, and from across The Pond, he already had a song created using some of the presets. They weren't even dry yet! Tiergarten.

I can't ask for any better reward on effort than that.

Thanks again, b rock! I don't often post because I usually don't have much to add to the wealth of knowledge here. Also, because I've been busy tracking guitars for a studio, so my synth studies have had to take a backseat for awhile. Anyway, being able to go through presets I like is very instructive since I can pick through the settings and see how they were built.
Regardless of how long it takes, there is work that goes into these, so again, I am truly grateful for the generosity. In fact, I'd say the faster somebody can make good patches, the more likelihood that there is plenty of experience and sweat in the background that allows for quicker patch builds.
I've learned some valuable stuff here, and especially from you, so it's well past time that I thank you personally. Well, as personally as a forum can be, that is.
Maybe I can offer something of value back to this forum some day.

(edit) A cool thing that happened recently was when I was in a music store, and somebody was looking to buy something synth-like, but didn't know what to get. The salesperson was having trouble with recommendations, and I overheard the customer asking about Dimension Pro - so I spoke up and said I had it. Turned out he wanted something that was an all-rounder - a synth, a sampler, a lot of good presets, and more. I was able to recommend DP and he ended up buying it. Part of my persuasion was that this forum is very helpful. So there! More feathers for everybody's caps!

I am having problems with the 'Architecture TB-32' and 'Architecture TB-32DP' presets.
In both DimPro and Rapture a handfull of them will not load, errors of multisample not found.
ORK3straw and Fat Ass are a couple that seem to need multisamples from the ArchitectureWaveformsCEBonus set and will not load.
Anybody else see this or have any ideas?
I have tried moving the CEBonus folder inside the ArchitectureWaveformsCE folder with no luck. Am running current updated versions of P5, DimPro and Rapture.
It must be something obvious but I'm out of ideas...

Xeno, I'm not sure what's happening there. I bought the Architecture CE set directly from Galbanum (and I believe that I was the first retail customer). I constructed the presets from that set. What may have happened is that the Bonus Presets were interlaced into the main folder structure in my own set.

Let me contact Andrew Souter and see how the two versions may differ. I'm speculating here, but you may have to combine the wavetables from similar categories together ('Serries' wavetables in the Bonus Presets with 'Serries' wavetables in the main Architecture CE set). In the meantime, maybe someone who has also used them can chime in here.

Brock. Great heads up on the Architecture wave forms.

Man I am so happy I bought Live 6. Rapture, just doesnt work on osx in mackie tracktion, and its only recently I have been able to get down and dirty with this synth.

    Man its so cutting edge!!!!!!!!!!!

cutting edge. I really wish the filters were a little better. They are very dry. sorta c++ or c, whatever they use to make it, programmed precision. But the algorythms in the filters dont sound like they are pushing toward the future as the multi envelopes. could just be me.

still I think the architecture wave forms will rock, and I shall grab em on friday, and pimp your bank, as we like sway....

Thanks again brock, you were right.

Moving the individual Bonus multisample folders into the ArchitectureWaveformsCE folder was the solution.

How simple and logical of course. in hindsight.

Chalk up another one for brock, The Answerman.

I'm glad that worked, Xeno, and I learned something from this question for the future as well. I didn't use much in the line of filters, etc. for these presets, because I wanted to let the Architecture CE waveforms 'shine'. So, without the correct wavetables in place, the presets kinda' fall apart.

Really radical. I just went ahead and picked up the wave forms this thread is discussing. B-Rock your bank is totally cool. These wave forms are outer space, out of control.

What the hell is wrong with cakewalk. I should have been emailed about a product like this! I am so upset. This is fantastic stuff. Really really enjoy the possiblities here.

For somebody who loves to try to sound design, and might not have the experience to build wave forms like this. Its out of control. just a complete loss of reality in these wave forms

Thanks so much for the bank. and thanks for the link about the wave forms. Awesome.
