I'm using a sys today that has an X-Fi card too, and it's actually pretty decent. Stinx that you are not getting the option for ASIO & WDM. Do they even show up under 'driver mode' at all? Can u force it by choosing one of those in 'driver mode' and the go bk to the 'general' tab and running the wave profiler, and then closing and re-opening the program? Not even sure if that'll do it, but I would think that it would. Can u right click the speaker in taskbar and open volume controls, then options and properties- tick "recording" box and make sure that the right things are checked off in there. As I said tho- I'm not 100% sure that all this will bring back those options. But its definitely worth a shot. I'm satisfied with the X-Fi with ASIO drivers. It's really not bad- or maybe it's because i had such low expectations for it.
hope it works out for ya
