blatant idm self-promotion moment (forgive me please)

i know, i know, i seldom come 'round here much, and now i'm going to make matters worse by just promoting a band website for myself, for which i apologize, except i know most of the old crew here and this music was indeed produced mostly in sonar (but this is the p5 board, that doesn't make sense! i know, again, but this is more p5-sounding music) with some feedback from forum members so i thought i'd give an update for a moment. if you've not checked this out yet, here's a chance:

i'm on a promotion tour for potato contraption (the band name, see, it's a little riddle) because we've finally done a cd, which should be available on cdbaby relatively soon. there's also a new album in the works that's largely finished and has some good old fashioned instruments as well as the non-funky beats that are going to be our trademark. this is a golden opportunity for you to hear this music before we become as famous as vromb!

thanks for tuning in...

These tracks are freekin ace Johann. This stuff is right up my alley. The production is fantastic. "Sineisnt" is my favourite of the four on Last fm. Good luck with the album.

yeah jopy, this is very good.

I heard it already on myspace, back when pcontraption was still a vague project, sounds like you (you guys?) moved on and took care of it seriously.
    waiting for the album!

edit : I've always liked the Fource song... I listened to it again and damn, it's really good.

Some really great stuff there. The glitchy stuff isn't my favorite style, but the soundscaping that goes on is first class - and the glitchy beats gives it something to work with (against?).

Very nice work. My fav was "lifter."

well, well, well, thanks fellows one and all!

the sound quality is richard dunlap, and this is at 128kbps encoding LAME mp3. i have no idea how he does that separation thing he does, because when i try to mix tracks like these they just turn into swampwater.
