P5 plugin problem

My P5 has developed a real pain in the bum of a problem, I am unable to install or un-install plugins.

This problem seems to have appeared since v2.5 was installed (although this is the first time I’ve tried installing anything since v2.5)

I have tried using the ‘VST Adapter 4’ that comes with P5, this no longer seem to work, it goes through the motions and leads you to believe that it’s done it’s stuff, but when I open P5 nothing has changed, i.e. no new plugins and the ones I’ve tried to get rid can still be loaded.

Any ideas anyone???

2.5 has built-in VST support, so the adapter is now defunct. You need to go to the Options menu in P5 and choose the VST option (can't recall what it's name is)...there you can add VST directory's and rescan etc your plugins.

If the wrapped plugins are not being used anywhere else, then sure. BTW: I think you need to run the adapter and Reset All before uninstalling it as, as far as I am aware, the uninstallation of the wrapper will not remove the registry references to wrapped plugins.
