Snap to Measure

I'm having a problem with one of my .WRK files. The song starts with tempo of 130 during verses, and changes to 100 during the choruses, then changes tempo back for the next verses. The problem I'm having is that, while the beginning verse audio snaps to the measures fine, I try to copy and paste the same audio to the second verse, and it is not "snapping" to the measure, but 1/4 measure out of whack. I've confirmed the tempo changes are either 130 or 100 in the right places, but I seem to constantly have to "slide" the audio to try to match the beginning of the measures. Is there a way to correct this?

Maybe if you reset the snap to 1/4 or 1/8 notes you could get it to line up? I know this doesn't answer the question as to why it is happening, but it might be a work around...

When you paste the clip. are you putting the 'now' line at the place you want the new clip and clicking 'ok' when the paste dialog box opens, or are you manually entering the numbers of the measure, beat, and time for the pasting point?
The beats start at 1, not zero, so if you have the clip starting at where the measure number is, that's not the first beat, so when you paste with the snap set to default, it will paste on the first beat, not at zero.
    I hope that helps.
