Cakewalk 3.0, sonar 5, 6?
I bought calkwalk 3.0 long time ago, I love its bar by bar view on all midi tracks, I used on Win98 and linked with my recorder by MTC, it is easy for me for my midi editing, I found out it does not work good on win xp, it is a simple midi software but takes 50 % CPU on my intel core 2 2.1x2 cpu, 2 gb ram, any one know is there any updates for the 3.0 for xp? or any easy calkwalk software like 3.0 works on xp better than 3.0? I need one only for midi, not audio, I tried cakewalk 9.0, sonar 5 they are hard to use for me, the Dx plug ins take too much CPU when I use more plug ins and slow down my computer.
I also have some free music sample on the link below.

Sounds like you really need to upgrade your pc, if a couple plugs bog down your system, thats not good. Im running over 100 plugins at a time in some projects.
