thick lead sound. (sandstorm? hah)

I'm looking for a synth that can do that thick sounding trance or techno sound like on sand storm the chord thing, the one that places that infections and annoying lead part on the song. i already have vanguard but thats not quite what i want.

    No offence intended - have you done any more with Vanguard other than audition the presets ?

    Others that come to mind are Predator, Adventus, Z3ta+, V-Station, etc. but really, any good synth plus some decent programming & layering will get a result... we are talking trance, after all !

    Maybe you should just get Zebra2 or Massive & learn it inside out.
