Congrats on your first venture, isn't this stuff great. And welcome to the forum. How was this all done? I'm hearing a rhythm guitar and a lead guitar played live, and I think loops for the rest? Sounds real good, nice wa wa work, and nice grooves. Creative use of effects , this piece takes me on a exotic journey.

Really enjoyed this one. I like the "Project Shed" artist name. Very ambient sounding tune with lots 'O little snippets in there to spice things up. This was great to listen to with the phones on. Welcome to the forum!

Your nailed it fep....more loops then me but ya gotta kinda start somewhere....just so much to learn and explore so I got kinda lost in the sause...so to speak. Hopefully as I go alone I'll be playing more and loopin' less...but heck it just great fun either way. Ihansen, Glad you enjoyed the lil trip...with drug testing in the workplace this is the best I can do ;) Thanks for the input and warm welcome! See you both soon! Peace, Tom of project shed

to be honest it just kinda formed.....I really had nothing to say...but the "feel" was born about half way through....I guess all those drugs in high school are finally paying off....(now where did I put those car keys??) :) Thanks for the welcome! I have no doubt I'll learn tons here.

That was nice, Tom! Love the tone of the guitar...that sweeping filter is cool as hell too! Also love the influences you've listed on your site. I'm like the world's BIGGEST Alan Parsons fan! Lookin' forward to more tunes!

Aaaah, I dig this piece! I am a sucker for sound fx, and this tune is full of them - and man, did you do a good job using them! Congratulations on this very exciting, mysterious, sometimes scary but well crafted instrumental piece. That sitar loop is incredible as is that sweep that appears every now and then. The percussions are deep and the vox fx are well chosen too. All in all - a piece that took me some place, even it sounded like a hostile one. Could have been part of a soundtrack for a Vietnam movie ... Great job, welcome to the forum, Tom! Heinz.

Very nice stuff Tom, this had me chilled out within seconds! Really interesting collage of sounds and textures, falling somewhere between the French band Air, and Pink Floyd circa Animals...a cool sound indeed. Enoyed that a lot!

ORIGINAL: clarkeo I tried to listen but am getting a "key not loaded" message. I'll try again later. Clark Hey Tom, I was able to listen to it finally. Very nice! I love the drums although they seem to become quite a bit less prominant around 2:10 it seems. Nice use of sound effects. I like the flanged part too. Very moody piece. A very pleasant listen! Clark

Tom, wow, nice combination of sounds . That is some extremely good work and really keeps your interest up wondering what kind of goodies are coming next. Reminded me of that movie with Charlie Sheen about Viet Nam, but I can't remember the name of it . They were going way back in the jungles looking for this deranged guy who was doing some really freaky stuff to people. Thanks for the high quality ear candy . DuRod

the funny thing is a few months ago I bought the soundtrack on double LP (yes I'm a vinyl nut too) and it was 99% the actual movie sounds as opposed to just a musical sound track...it was deep and I didn't at all think of it during recording! But I guess our minds capture sounds and emotions then stores them...even when we're really not attempting to do so...BTW glad you enjoyed the ride!

This is nice and odd, love the vibe and it all sounds really good too. If it were me, i'd get a bit of chorus or phaser on the vocal...that'd be the icing for me but it works well as is. Cool stuff.

Duane, That was "Apocalypse Now". Actually, it was Martin. But yes, I got the same vibe. Tom, That little hint of Hueys really drove it home. That is a sound I will forever associate with Viet Nam. For years I thanked God every day I didn't go there. Missed it by a hair. Very cool mystical vibe to this. Quietly insideous, like a snake. Dark, yet warm. Welcome, and keep 'em coming.

Yo Tom, Good cinematic/atmospheric trance number. I like the burping synth you got going through out. The interaction of the synth sweep and the subliminal vocals is pretty cool. Cheers, Bert

This is another great tune... Once again, love the percussion, esp. how you have it mixed in just enough in the background as to not be overpowering.

I enjoyed Surprise, very Floydish chord progression. Sweet lead guitar from about 2:00 on, very nicely understated in the mix. Nice little effects here and there for accent. Neighbors: such a slow build, I wondered if Soundclick was working. Again, nice phrasing in your guitar work, good wah work ( a weakness of mine). The change at 2:30 really got my attention. Another echo of Floyd with the copters, but used judiciously. Both songs are good, good work. Mark
