Vista 64 weirdness

I know that Vista64 and Project5 aren't good bedmates but I am having some problems with a couple of plugins - mainly ones by Camel (Cameleon 5000, Camelphat and Camelspace) and Shortcircuit 1 and 2. If I insert these in Project5 as a synth or effect then it immediately crashes Project5. They work fine in Sonar 7 (32bit). Here's the strange thing though, if I open Project5 as a Re-Wire instrument from within Sonar, all the instruments I mentioned above work fine in Project5!

As an aside, there must have been a few changes to Vista recently. I tried Vista64 a few months ago and returned back to XP because the performance was so bad. I recently tried it again and I noticed the performance has greatly improved (probably with some recent updates) but whereas all my plugins worked fine in Vista64 before, I am having a couple of problems now.

What problems are you having? I've used P5 in V64 without issue. One weird thing though after I installed the 2.5 update was it more or less hosed my DXi plugins and made them show up as DX effects in Sonar rather than synths. I amanaged to fix the issue though.

I don't have any of those, sorry I've also noticed P5 (and Sonar) behaving better lately on Vista x64 though...

Yes, I am very surprised with the performance of late. I am actually getting BETTER performance than I was in XP. Strange.

Lionsound - The camel plugs (Cameleon 5k, Camelphat & Camelspace) and Shortcircuit 1 & 2 keep crashing Project5 as soon as I insert them. They don't crash if I insert them when Project5 is running Re-Wire through Sonar.

Hmm, I have Camelphat and Camelspace but haven't seen those problems in p5, although I haven't tried that out lately. I'll try to give it a test sometiume and let you know what happens.
