Dimension Pro-problem on Macs

All of the orchestral instruments are only monaural as opposed to a stereo spread as is the case with the synth/electronic based sounds. And it's not just limited to the strings and Garritan sounds. what's up with this? I have a nice stereo spread when I had my PCs (chucked them and went back to Mac- sorry PC :() Can anyone explain why this is? I thought it was just a Logic Express 8 problem but Cubase 4.1.0 also yields the same problem.

Mac G5 2.0ghz, Logic 8, Dimension Pro, Z3TA, Rapture, EWQLSO Platinum Pro XP, EWQLSC, Vienna SE, HALion Symphonic Orchestra, etc

cake's site on DimPro says that you need the 1.2 update for Macs - do you have that?
