Dumbkid said all my songs are crap, but then again look at the sourse its comming from...LOL

I didn't say your songs were crappy. I said they sounded crappier through a soundblaster. If you're gonna quote me, at least get it right.

I said

Right, but what did you mean, Burt? Come on. You quote him out of context all the time.

wait a second. Did you say you use Sonar to record a band LIVE???? Isn't that illegal??? You might catch some live vibe doing that; of course you could edit it out later.

When I first started recording w/Sonar 2.2, I wanted every feature/plug I could get. Now I do less and less post editing. Didn't even upgrade the last release of Autotune as I hardly ever use it anymore. Same with Audiosnap; great tool, but I find I don't really need it too often.

Everyone's needs are different, but if you're doing lots of live recording, and little post editing/processing, you probably don't NEED v 7, thought it's a great, clean new release and I love the new midi features (for editing drums mainly, but I have a real drummer now so hope not to do this as much).

My 2 cents (worth less than that probably)

1. Sir (Harold) Malcolm Sargent, 1895–1967, English conductor.

"The father of the eminent English conductor, Sir (Harold) Malcolm (Watts) Sargent, was an amateur organist and choirmaster. Malcolm Sargent himself studied piano and organ and sang in a number of choirs. At the age of sixteen he became Keeton's assistant as organist at Peterborough Cathedral (until 1914)."

Hey Webb,

I actually think you'll find the updated can and string to be the best new feature in Sonar 7!

Peace,

Oh man. Now I KNOW we've crossed the line. The ONE thing I actually look forward to more than anything else on this forum (despite its rare appearances) is Majic's clever, cool post titles. The fact that he didn't use one here is obviously a sign.

I have a friend who desperately needs help with his system, but is afraid to ask questions on this forum for fear of being ridiculed..

Well thats ashame. I only try to use the fewest words to get to what im trying to say, because im mostly doing things in sonar when im here. Its not meant to be mean, but i do mean to be direct. The only time i will be mean is if someone else is mean to me or another roomie. Maybe i may misinterpit phrases also, but dont take my directness for being mean. Im a man of few words and a man who cant spell worth #$%^%

It doesn't look good does it. Still I think it'd need a shoutbox to really be a chatroom.
