Off Topic guitar question

I recently inherited a 1983 Martin D-28 150th anniversary special edition flat top guitar. Does anyone know the value of this instrument?(for insurance purposes) or where I can find out how much it is worth.

Wow ceeph, sounds like a beauty. I would look up Gruhn Guitars on the web. They are a big Martin dealer. Also, check Ebay and see what they are going for there. Off the top of my head, if its mint or close to mint, it could be worth 3-5 grand. Hold on to it though, nothing sounds like a Martin. Check back and let me know what you find out.

I found one for sale at gruhn for $7500. Thanks for the help. It is in mint condition looks like it hasn't ever been played. This guitar was my grandfathers. He would never play his martins on stage. He always used alvarez or gibsons but his martin guitars were his favorites he always said nothing sounds as good as a martin. I will never sell this guitar but I need to add it to my homeowners insurance.
