Go Memphis Tigers!!! (I'm not talking football, we suck at that )

How did y'all let Ole Miss off the hook? Damn, the Tigers should have eaten the Rebs for a pre-game snack.

You must be talking football ? Man, I forgot about that. You know, the tiger football team sucks, I really don't follow them, but heard about that on the news. What I'd like to see is us getting out of C-USA It's hard earning a #3 rank, and ESPN calling us #1 in the country, when you are in the worst confrence in the nation, and rarely play anyone worth it. I mean we beat a team a week ago 95 to 30 something

"Football - it's not a matter of life and death - it's more important than that' - Bill Shankly

hey, i spose it could be worse, i could be a Dolphins fan!

Enjoy your day off tomorrow then guys and gals in the US!

Hey Troops.... wanted to add my two cents. I really appreciate all the help I get on these boards (although I go to a few others, these are the best.... being the Sonar geek that I am!!) As you can tell I am a DieHard Eagles fan.... we have two sayings... Wait till next year and If football is a religion, why don't we have a prayer!!

But, I love Turkey Day. As I have grown older, I have learned the value of friends and family..... and to be appreciative of what I have. Soooo, have a good one everybody.

And Fly E-A-G-L-E-S Fly against the Patriots!!!!! (remember you read it here first.... the Iggles will win!!)

ps One of these days, I'll have to use my Eagles tattoo as my avatar!

Talk is cheap; supply outweighs the demand.

Light travels faster than sound, that's why some people look bright before you hear them speak.

Jerry Jones bought the Dallas Cowboys, Andy Reid owns them!!

I feel your pain! The Patriots... those guys aren't human! Its a well oiled machine. Not a team at all.

One thing about football any team can win on any given Sunday or in this case Thursday. Thats my story and I am sticking to it. Thats the theory anyway. I will say this I am so glad we have GB and not the Patriots. I don't think I would even bother to watch it if it were! LOL

Oopsy-daisy! I think you hit a few wrong keys here...

John, you know what's funny? I am a diehard Pats fan. Like, to the core. And every week I get SOOOOO worked up about the game, invite friends, order food, buy some potent potables... And every week I end up watching the first couple possessions and then I get bored and start recording or watch all my DVR'd episodes of Zoey 101 (no joke!) and Law and Order. I will talk football all week, defending Belichick, boasting how great they are, blah, blah, blah...But when it comes down to it, its rather boring to watch (except the Colts, of course - I NEVER get tired of beating them..)

That's when you stop right there, leave the game on, wait for a comerical and swap to the computer (assuming your computer is though your tv), press the massive playlist of hand picked "pumped up football" songs from your massive libary, press the random button, and start slaming beers, while eating rotel dip made with two cans of hot. Oh, don't forget to put your tv back on the game while the music plays though the surround sound.

Thankful that I'm American. Oops, I mean U.S. of A-an. Say, the last letter in USA is "America". So...
Thankful that I'm American.

Thankful that I don't observe "Canadian Boxer Day". Say, what exactly is that, anyway. Why is it on my calendar?

Oops! Turkey is done. Bye.

Exactly my point. What is it?
Would one of our Canadian brothers shed some light on this?

That's strange. I always thought that the day after Christmas was "Return All the Stuff that You and Your Kids and Everybody Didn't Like or that Didn't Fit Day".
