Info on z3ta+'s arpeggiator?

Is there anywhere in z3ta+ where I can find info on the arp patterns applied to presets?

I have found a preset that I am using out of the box which on a held single note imparts a gated rhythm to the note and if held long enough this rhythm alters pitch using the arpeggiator.

I would like to know what the note lengths are and what the relative pitch of the notes are.
[I suppose I could bounce to audio then apply V-Vocal to determine this but I'd prefer to be told by z3ta+]
I would like to alter the relative pitch of the arp'd notes as the rest of the tune moves from major to minor.

Is this possible?

I see from the USER guide that the Arps can be defined using MIDI files.
Does anyone know if it's possible to 'extract' the MIDI files associated with the default arp patterns?

Go to the Project 5 Forums, you will get your answer there. Also the have a link to the P5 Wiki which has full instruction on how to use Z3TA

Is the pattern you are perceiving as a pattern really a pattern? Or is it just a consequence of the oscilators pulses and some comb filtering from the resonance, phase shifting, and filtering? Not all ARP patterns are driven with sequeneced patterns.

Sorry if this is treating your question too simplistically... when you said your just holding down one note it made me think the "pattern" is being generated in the circuit rather than on a sequenced pattern.

    best regards,

I'm not at my DAW right now so I can't reference the patch concerned - I was working on it at home last night - I have a day job .......If I was I could tell you which patch 'm talking about as it's a factory preset.

I am pretty sure it was arp driven rather than oscillator/envelope driven.

    I'll check back tonight.

I'd like to listen to it.

I've long had a casual interest in pattern perception via combfilter effects... that's the only reason I thought to suggest the possibility.

mike > even if you are correct and it turns out to be oscillator driven, I'd still be interested to know if the installed arpeggiator patterns can be extracted to midi....

also it'll be Monday before I can post the patch number as my domestic internet connection is down at the moment .

    Twig,
I was hoping to follow along and learn by following your thread... I don't know very much about Z3TA.

I hope someone else will help you out your question.

    best,
    mike
