Choppy sound when exporting audio

Hi, Sonar 7 is working like a charm, but I have just one problem with audio exporting:
In my song I use some strings from kontakt2, they play fine in the sequencer, but when I export them (mp3, wav) each note of the strings play for like a split second and then stop, while it should play for 1 second or 2. I've tried some of the presets when exporting ("What you hear" or something like that and "What you hear -real time", this one works, but for the first 30 seconds of the song, then it goes bad).
Thanks for the help and keep up the good work.

I had this problem and it turned out that it was a VST plug-in treating the signal in mono and then passing it onto the next plug in the chain which processed the signal in stereo.

Once I took the mono plug off the chain everything worked fine. Perhaps you have a similar mono/stereo issue here(?)

    kontakt2

Kontakt has a "Offline (Bounce) Mode" button (go to "Engine" tab on the left) . Engage it before bouncing and see if it helps.

Turn off "fast bounce" when exporting and bouncing. Samplers and other synths that read from disk can't keep up with fast bounce and this causes dropouts. If dropouts still occur when bouncing the entire project then try bouncing these sampler/synth tracks to a new track before exporting the entire project. This will reduce overall load on the cpu letting the sampler do it's job.

Thanks turning off "fast bounce" when exporting did the trick. Thanks!
