Lessons for an eager learner.

Hi everyone!

My name is Adam and I'm a saxophonist who has been lured into the fascinating side of recording, mixing, editing, sampling, and other things which I don't even know the name for. Currently, I have taken a year off to practice and make my own home studio (and learn how to use it). I was wondering what you guys and gals would recommend for me as a way to get started with Sonar 7 Producer Edition. I've seen some video tutorials and such and thought those would be a good investment. Does anybody have anything to suggest? I know I'll prolly be posting here quite a bit, hopefully, eventually, I will be able to give advice as well as take advice. Any suggestions to helping me get started would be helpful. Thanks so much!

All the best,
Adam

Run through the tutorials in the manual. Not only to familiarize yourself with the software but to learn the jargon . Your questions will get far more acurate answers if you're using the same jargon as the forum members. HTH.
