PRV Tool Confuserator

Wow, that PRV Tool Configurator is mighty confusing. Simple request. How do I make it so that I lasso a group of notes and then hit a key or something to mute the events? The best I could do was make it so that I hit Shift-click and then dragged over a note it would mute that note, not very convenient to mute a block of events in one operation. I couldn't find Event Mute in the Key Bindings section.

There's got to be a way, right?

(I myself gave up on PRV-mode (for MIDI tracks) and flick Ctrl-5 for swift Piano Roll View edits.)

Now, the only way I personally how know to mute MIDI clips are to cut/split desired clips (in track view) ... hit 'T' (Select Tool) ... select the track and hit 'Q' (keyboard toggle to mute a MIDI or Audio Clip).

    There must be another way!

Event mute is not indeed available as key binding or menu action, just like split and glue.

But using PRV tools you should be able to configure a gesture (for example shift + right click) that acts on all selected notes: lasso notes, then shift + right click one of them.

If you have configured correctly PRV tools it should be possible.
