NAMM Show

Just thought I'd mention that Cakewalk is giving seminars at the NAMM show on Friday and Saturday and have set up a way for folks to attend live/online. It looks like it's going to be very interesting and informative so I registered for 3 of them. You can sit home and watch the seminars live right on your own computer.

Anyway, here's a link if anyone is interested.

Oh, yea...You can even ask questions during thier question and answer period. Pretty cool.

Ok, so here's a really dumb question.

    WHERE IS IT?

I went to cakewalk's registration page a few weeks ago and have nosed around there and other websites, but I can't find ANY reference to where the stupid thing is!

    LOL

I heard it was being held at your house this year Beag. Hope you have plenty of refreshments in your fridge.

Sorry, couldn't resist. It's being held in Anaheim Ca. but you don't have to go all the way to Anaheim if you register. You can see it all happen live on your own computer at home.

Of course you'll only get to see Cakewalk's booth and seminars. It would be great to actuall attend and see everyone's booth. I'd be like a kid in a candy store.

I'm pretty sure the winter NAMM show is always held at the Anahiem Convention Center. But they also have started a summer NAMM. I think the summer NAMM is usually held in Nashville but last year it was held in Austin. (Just outside your back door Beag, and mine.) It has already been announced that the summer NAMM will be held in Nashville again this year.

I'm afraid I'd go crazy seeing all those toys if I went to one. I've already been asked not to return to Guitar Center because I was salivating all over their merchandise. I want to buy everything I see!

I'm on a self imposed buying embargo, before my wife kills me too! .....but....it gives me plenty of time to shop around for some monitors.....also have that plastic thingy to take care of. It'd be cool to watch this, but I'm working a trade show during.
