Transfer of product license

Another question-
Now that I have upgraded to Sonar 7, can I transfer the licenses for Sonar 5 and 6 to someone else? Thanks

When you install, you check a box that indicates you understand that there is no transfer privilege with your license to use the Cakewalk product... so, you're together forever...

Now, that all depends......do you think you should be able to?

Answer that and the ball should get rolling

perhaps a mild chastization is appropriate at this point. Perhaps mudgirl would agree. Perhaps she wouldn't, in which case she would raise her arms in ire screaming, "look at my chest....uh I mean Software is my chest...wait...Software is NOT resellable via the agreement you agreed to...(look at my chest!!!)....

No matter what I think or what anybody else thinks you are in violation of the EULA. I didn't make the rules but I do follow them. Because I support CW with my dollars I want it to thrive. Thus I can not help or support those that don't help and support it too. Some may not agree with this view, so what

All that may be true. It is not our call. It is what CW has decided that matters not us. Do I then go around them and help those that CW has not allowed to use their software? I may think I am wise but I have no right to circumvent their policy. This is the way it is. Who am I to make another policy? Besides there are many options.

So, em... where did ANYONE in this thread suggest NOT following the EULA?

    Corey,

A few threads ago someone pointed out that "AnabolicSteven" is simply cut and pasting parts of "John" 's previous posts as responses for whatever mentally-disturbed reason. I didn't verify this by sifting though John's posts but it must be that he doesn't like John and thinks he's funny by doing this because you are right...most of his posts are "off". I've blocked him.

Hey there, some of the plugins or extras on the CD might be valuable to you in the future, if you need to reinstall, so you might want to hang on to the old versions. If not, allow me to interject musically!

Not when he is doing it by direct quotes to simply jab at a fellow forum member. That isn't funny...it's annoying. The "20-40%" references that I've seen were all derivative, not direct quotes of the original guy(I forget his name...Shea?) that said it. JMO and, of course, you are entitled to yours.
