recording studio instruments//sonar 6

Hi im having a problem with my studio instruments,when i go to record a loop track only the one trac shows a recording the other does not have anything there when i go to play back the transport doesent move,
using sonar6 with sI and m-audio external sound OS vista,all im really saying is how the hell do you record a drum track with studio instruments.

    I am having the same problem. I see there is no response. Can anyone at Cakewalk support explain how to do this. I followed the instructions to View the Synth Rack and I can select one of the instruments. It just not feed to the Track in sonar. Also, the re-wire devices is always greyed out.

    Any help would be appreciated.
