Condenser Mic and Edirol USB recording problem

Howdy, folks!! I need a little help. How do I isolate the mic so that it only records voice? I'm using an Edirol USB interface, into which I have my MIDI synth and condenser mic plugged. Even when I put headphones on, when I arm the track for voice and begin recording, the tracks that are playing, get into the voice track. I want it to ONLY record voice, but I have to be able to hear the music in order to sing. Thanks for any suggestions you can offer.

Okay... After a little fiddling around, I realized that the vox was being recorded in mono, so I switched the incoming signal in the track to left, rather than stereo, so it only records the mic, and then when it plays back, it's in stereo. It's all good!
