How do I hear sound and select tracks?

I just bought MC4 and I cannot hear any songs I import even though the file shows up as a stereo wave on the track. I added it to a tutorial file, I can hear those tracks fine, but not the ones I add. How do I change the track and output on the new tracks to hear them and edit them? Also how do I add another track and use the piano roll to edit and add notes? I can only change notes and tracks on previously established tutorial tracks but none of the necessary options are available on the new tracks I create.

    you cannot edit AUDIO notes in the PRV. the PRV is for editing MIDI notes.
    when you import the song, are you trying to import it into a MIDI track? if so, that won't work, import it into an AUDIO track. AUDIO and MIDI are two different things.
