Can anyone make this sound?

I can't figure it out. Does anyone know how to program this or know of a preset similar in a cakewalk softsynth?

It sounds to me like a orchestral hit. This was popular in the late 80's early 90's

The tail end sounds like a vocal hit. I have a Yamaha sy99 that has the orchestral hit patch Roland D110 as well.

These can be made from most symphonic vinyl captures or snaged from a old synth.

Yeah, I figured the orch hit part, but sounds layered with some type synth sound, or is it a vocal? Hmmm, either way, does it sound to you as if there is a slight pitch envelope or pitch bend on the tail of it, or am I hearing things?

Yes, it sounds like there is a "multi" saw-type synth sound layered on it with a pitch bend/small portamento (and bouncing between L/R at the end).
