REALSTRAT ?

A friend of mine told me about this program called Realstrat. He said they were coming out with a new guitar synthesizer and I was wondering if this was it: http://www.musiclab.com/products/realstrat_info.htm . I don't know much about Music Lab, but does anyone have experiance with their synthesizers? I'm looking for an authentic Guitar syynthesizer so I can be able to play some nice distorted guitar chords for my songs. Please post your suggestions here. Thanks!

From what I've heard and read they have very good products. Why don't you download the demo and try it out? They also have demo-songs on their page made with their instruments as well as some videos of them being used. Hope that will help you

Sadly very reduced studio equipment as it is... ASUS G750J, 8 gb RAM, Win8, Roland Quad Capture.

It's been discussed here before, but very few are actually using it.

Definitely download the video demos, they are absolutely amazing.

The company is in Russia, if that bothers anyone. Maybe I'm paranoid, but I can't help feeling a little uncomfortable about sending my credit card information to anyone in Russia.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

Yes, that is the company that makes RealGuitar and RealStrat.

I’ve used RealGuitar2. It’s pretty damn good, BUT be prepared for a learning curve. The user interface is straightforward and simple, but you have to understand and practice the technique required on the keyboard to play it affectively. This takes time and practice. It’s like learning a new instrument. It’s not like playing a keyboard or guitar. It’s a unique approach all it’s own. It also works with midi loops, but I don’t use midi loops for anything. I want to play what I hear in my head, not somebody’s limiting loops.

I’ve never tried RealStrat. It’s got more features than RealGuitar, so it would probably take longer to master.

If you’re not the patient, disciplined type, you may not like it. If you put the time in, you can take it a long way with very good results.
