Woohoo! This is for those who voiced concerns they might not see their free AD Retro pack for awhile... Got an email today from BigFish, with a Fed Ex tracking number...

The package is due on my doorstep tomorrow. (And I only put the form in the mail last Sat!)

Well I sent my rebate form for the free expansion pak almost a month ago and have recieved nothing! Not even an email acknowledgement. I've called Big Fish Audio twice already and have gotten nothing more than empty reassurances that the orders are being "processed". This company smells kinda fishy [sm=rolleyes.gif]. Two weeks ago I was assured by a guy named "Mac" that "yeah, yeah we got your order and we'll start shipping them out beginning of next week"... I called again today and was told by "John" something totally different, that they're gonna process the orders today and start shipping next week! WTF! I told him that a couple peeps have recieved confirmation e-mails and Fed-EX tracking numbers but he(like "Mac" last week) insisted that they don't send any emails and that the only confirmation is when you finally recieve the product. WTF again!

i called last week and they told me they were shipping may 1. they looked up my order and said I was among the first to get shipped on may first, 4 weeks isnt so bad.

Most computer related rebates take up to 3 months is ever.

Ha! they told me that I would be among the first to get it too, when I spoke to "Mac"(the guy that actually ships the boxes) on the 25th of April. That's what the girls used to tell me in college also, but it never quite panned out. Then, when I spoke to another guy on the 2nd of May, I was told that they were gonna start to get serious and finally finish going thru the orders that day. That's a full day after they told you they would supposedly have shipped.

The thing that's frustrating about this whole scenario is that a couple peeps have reported that they were informed via e-mail complete with FedEx tracking numbers and the whole lot yet I was told repeatedly that there's no such animal. So I've come to the conclusion that there were a lucky few that got the courtesy of some proper notification while those orders that came in the second batch will not be extended that courtesy. And I also strongly suspect that there's a shortage of product itself.

So have you gotten it yet gmon? Anybody else besides olpal?

Ya I haven't seen mine either and I mailed out the rebate pretty early on.

+1, and I'm in CA.

i havent seen anyone post that they received it yet on KVR or the XLN forum. Bigfish told XLN that most of the orders have been fulfilled, which I think is nothing more than wishful thinking.

Well, one promising thing is that I received an advertisement just now from Big Fish to the email acct listed on my rebate form, I have never received anything from them before so I assumed they at least opened the letter to provide me with some consolation spam.

Me too! That's the most exciting thing I've heard from them in 43 days! It's interesting how they emphatically declined to send us any sort of e-mail confirmation as to the status of our orders or shipping status, -yet- they've no problem with sending unsolicited spam.

I got my AD Retro PAK in the mail today. I sent in my request on 4/25/08.
There is hope for the rest of you.

Received my AD pack today US Mail. Rebate form mailed April 30th also.

The Big Fish has landed down here in Miami too! I sent mine out around the 7th of April! The package was postmarked 21st of May. Well, in the end, it was worth the wait. After all, we did get $400 worth of kick-ass drums for $130.
