second attempt - chemical betray

hey guys, i know you liked the first version of this, but i fixed alot of problems in the song. so if you would give it another listen. thank you in advance..

its still in that crappy 128kb/s bit rate, it dont give the wave justice.. .

if you hear anything out of wack, besides vocals pitchiness if any, please say something.
got that kick drum sounding better. snare might be too high in mix, lemme know. are the vocals too loud? that kinda thing. eq issues, ect..

Sounds great... you know.. it might sound cool if you used an old-time radio sound for the lead vocals... something very stylized... something to give it a bit of an edge and differentiate between the lead and chorus more. Sort of a scratchy tinny sound then builds to the full voice when you get the heavy part. Just an idea, but it might set the song apart form others of the genre.

    Cheers

as it turns out, im not done with this tune yet. i have just introduced a new set of drums to this song and am working on them as we speak. i came to hate the electronic sound of these current drum maps (from a boss dr-880), so i am using session drummer 2's awesome real samples. the quality is outstanding. i can hear the drum room, and i think it makes it that much better. nice crisp high end on the cymbals, nice low boom on the kick and i love the snare i've chosen. not only that. i purchased izotope ozone 3 and love the mastering tools it has. highly recommended program. i will post again once i update the song, but for those who havent heard it, click on the first posts link.

If you liked Tool, Korn and old metallica, you'll love this. it ranked 24 in alternative for a day or 2. please leave a comment on my page there if you would. .

    thanks

p.s. those are not the new drums on that song, i will get them on there by monday, but what a difference it makes.

The mix sounds great on my iPod phones. Really good separation of sound and the balance is excellent. Love the crunch on the guitars. I have a friend who will love this tune!
